Doula Care Services
The pricing packages below illustrate the integrated services available as doula
packages. If you would like to place your deposit or make a payment using your

Basic Package
The Basic package covers the most fundamental doula care services. It includes all
the standard prenatal and postnatal care in addition to labor support at your home
and birthing facility. You will get 24 hour on call support, use of my extensive lending
library, two prenatal visits and one postpartum home visit. I will assist you in
creating a birth plan and understanding your birth choices. We will prepare together
for labor, reviewing relaxation techniques, alternative pain relief techniques and how
the birth team will work together. I will assist with initial breastfeeding and even take
pictures at the birth if you desire. You will receive a beautifully typed birth story and
we will review the birth experience at the postpartum visit.
Because of my experience as a massage therapist and yoga instructor, you will
have a few additional features included, even in the basic package. I will educate
you on optimal fetal positioning. We will also review your pregnancy posture and
how to facilitate minimizing the postural distortions that can occur during pregnancy.
You will receive one prenatal massage. This gives us time to build a strong rapport
before your birth and allows you to feel relaxed and comforted by my touch.
Deluxe Package
The Deluxe package includes all of the wonderful features of the basic
package…and more. The difference with this package is that you get to experience
more integration of the services I offer. We will spend more time together prenatally,
as this package includes three massages, instead of one. In addition to the
prenatal massages, you will also receive a postpartum massage in your home.
Postpartum massage is invaluable in addressing the physical strain caused to your
body during labor and birth. And on top of that, you will also receive an introductory
prenatal yoga class. Yoga can aid in relieving many of the discomforts of pregnancy
and preparing your body for labor and birth.
Premium Package
The premium package is the most integrated and most comprehensive of all the
packages. You will receive everything from the basic and deluxe packages.
However, this package includes six massages. The more massage you receive
prenatally, the more your body becomes relaxed and familiar with my touch. This is
invaluable during the birthing process. When the body is conditioned to relax under
my touch, it will automatically respond by relaxing when I touch you during labor.
In addition to the prenatal therapeutic massage, you will also receive a labor
preparation massage. This will aid in preparing the muscles that are used during
childbirth and we can even stimulate acupressure points to encourage labor to
begin if you are past your due date. In addition to the postpartum massage, you will
also receive a postpartum follow up visit. This visit includes an extra in-home
postpartum massage. This visit will also address the physical stresses of newborn
care and the effects it has on your posture. You will receive a postural evaluation
and education on restoring your pre-pregnancy posture. Postural re-education is
necessary to restore the structural realignment of the pelvis, which tilts considerably
during pregnancy. Many further discomforts can develop if the postural changes
during pregnancy are not addressed.
Not only does this package include extensive massage and postural work, you will
also receive additional yoga classes. You will be invited to attend four prenatal
yoga class sessions. You will be receiving all of the benefits of prenatal yoga and
will notice a significant difference in your body by attending several classes.
On top of all of that, the premium package includes a professional photography
sitting. You will be invited to collaborate ideas to create exactly what you want for
your session. You may use your session prenatally to capture the beauty and joy of
your pregnancy. Some mothers choose to schedule the session after the baby’s
birth for a family portrait setting. The session may last 1-2 hours and includes a
proofing CD of all images and password protected online proofing.
